If you're still an undecided voter, maybe Tom DeLonge, formerly of blink-182, can help sway you to Clinton's team. DeLonge parted ways with the band to devote more of his time to researching extraterrestrial life. Now WikiLeaks has published emails DeLonge sent to Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta, about UFOs. Oh, and he doesn't like the word aliens anymore. In an email from October 2015, DeLonge suggests bringing "A-Level" officials to Washington, D.C., to meet with Podesta in person.
DeLonge wisely declined to share any sensitive information in an email, so we may never know the specifics. A second email from January 2016 gets into a little more detail. DeLonge writes about General McCasland, who he claims to be working with, and who, apparently, has inside knowledge of Roswell that made him believe in extraterrestrial life.
Another email sent at the beginning of this year suggests that DeLonge may have successfully made contact. With the Clinton campaign, that is. The email shows that Susan McCasland Wilkerson accepted an invitation from Podesta to an event called "DeLonge/Podesta Meeting." McCasland Wilkerson is likely the former NASA astronaut candidate of the same name. She comes from DeLonge's hometown of San Diego and apparently performs live music, which is something DeLonge still sometimes does. Clinton has previously stated that she wants the government's UFO files released. “If there is something there, unless it’s a threat to national security, I think we ought to share it with the public," she said. Maybe Clinton can be DeLonge's new Mark Hoppus. Bonus: 5 Seconds of Summer play pop-punk charades |
